About this blog: This is the blog of Nordic Ski Source, an online retail store specializing in cross country ski gear, and other fun stuff related to the sport.
But it is also much more than that.
This blog celebrates the uncelebrated. It revels in the unheralded; the racers who train and race with varying levels of support, the volunteers who groom countless miles of trail and host just about every event related to the sport, and the skiers who passionately pursue this wonderful activity even though it is widely ignored by mainstream society.
And, this blog hopes to honor and cherish the immeasurable; the beauty of the outdoors, the solitude of a trail, the harshness of a storm, or the intensity of a hill. These are just some of the reasons why we ski and we hope we can share those feelings and moments with the Nordic community.
